The Golf Society's Winter Competition took place Friday 27th Jan at Bushey Hall. Twenty two competitors took to the field on a brisk, sunny day, although conditions underfoot were a trifle damp.
Two excellent scores of 38 points were returned by Keith Thompson and Terry Tregear, with Keith winning the day on countback. Ian Drew was once again runner-up with a gutsy 37 points.
Eddie Thompson was nearest the pin on the 9th and Andrew Faber hit the longest drive on the 13th. Kieran Fenech, who was handicapped by playing with his father Paul, had the best aggregate score on the par 3's.
Photos of the day can be seen on this site and on the message board in the club and I would advise you all that the Spring Competion will take place at Pinner on 11thMay. Once again, all are invited and should you wish to be included on the mailing list please send details to leighgibb@yahoo.co.uk.
